Alticolor will be taking part as an ISO 13485:2021 qualified company in the biggest international event dedicated to the medical industry. Every year MEDICA welcomes more than 3000 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors from more than 150 countries around the world.
The appointment is in Düsseldorf from 13 to 16 November and represents an important opportunity for exchanging ideas with the leading professionals and operators in the world medical sector, thanks also to numerous meetings with forums and special exhibitions dedicated to medical technology issues.
The medical industry is a sector that only works with companies that implement strict checks and procedures while also investing in research and development. These characteristics are certified by the UNI CEI EN ISO 13485:2021 standard, demonstrating a company’s capacity to deliver medical devices and associated services compliant with the needs of customers and the requirements of all applicable regulations. This capacity was demonstrated when Alticolor were awarded ISO 13485:2021 certification for our treatments on components destined for use in the biomedical sector.
These include hard coloured titanium anodizing, hard plain and coloured aluminium anodizing, double acid etching on titanium, plasma decontamination, passivation of stainless steel, electropolishing, cleaning of plastic and carbon materials, packaging compliant with standard 11607, chemical conversion of aluminium according to MIL-DTL-5541F:2006, and ISO 7 clean room (standards 14644 and 14698).
Participation at MEDICA is another step forward in the process of establishing Alticolor as preferred partners for leading world companies in the medical sector.
