In a rapidly evolving scenario, the ability to anticipate the future is fundamental. Alticolor know how important it is to get the new generations involved in innovative research and development projects, and they have invested in various initiatives that support young people in their professional development.
In collaboration with the University of Padua we support the Race Up team project with initiatives ranging from the ExpoScuola, to traineeships in the company for Marconi Technical College chemistry students.
Race Up Team: the project
Once again this year Alticolor are joining other prestigious sponsors to support the young Race Up team comprising 80 students from the various engineering faculties of the University of Padua. Each year the team designs and produces two vehicles, one electric and one internal combustion, in an international automobile contest with the participation of the best universities from around the world.
This innovative initiative helps to trace out future design methods for the automobile sector while at the same time reshaping the university training model through an approach that perfectly marries theory and practice to achieve cutting-edge results.
Anodizing race up car parts
Alticolor are partnering with the engineering faculty or the University of Padua to develop anodizing treatments for components that will make up the highly innovative prototype vehicles.
Results achieved by the Race Up Team
The team’s history is already resplendent with success, acknowledged as best team in Italy in 2021/2022 and fifteenth in the world classification out of more than 600 teams. This season sees a continuation of successes with the Race Up Team dominating in all the competitions in which they participated, always with brilliant results.
