Natural aluminium anodising is obtained through a deliberate electrochemical process whereby a protective oxide layer forms on the surface of the aluminium item, protecting it against corrosion.
The anodic oxidation process on aluminium produces a fully-fledged surface transformation.
The bare metal reacts with the oxygen that develops during the electroplating process, forming natural grey aluminium oxide of varying thickness depending on the final environment in which the item will be used. The aluminium anodising process reinforces natural oxidation, is not hazardous, and does not produce harmful or hazardous by-products.
